Monique Roy

As an emerging multidisciplinary artist, I have a keen interest in creating accessible, inclusive and experiential designs for live performances and beyond. My work spans across all areas of live performance from installation and festival circuits, to set/spatial design, sustainable costume design, fabrication, and project management. My most recent projects include a Production and Management internship with Australia's leading contemporary dance company Dancenorth, a Curation and Programming internship with World Stage Design Conference 2022 for the Ecoscenography Reading Group, as well as one of the main Designers and Fabricators for the State Library of Queensland's Great and Grand Rumpus.

Originally from Canada, my work aligns with creating meaningful, innovative and environmentally sustainable experiences for the community to enjoy. I am a recent graduate of Queensland University of Technology's  Bachelor of Fine Arts (Technical Production) with Distinction
